Vintage Arne Vodder vanity (*sold)

Prachtige vintage kaptafel ontworpen door de Deense ontwerper Arne Vodder (attributed).
Dit bijzondere exemplaar staat op een elegant vormgegeven frame en heeft de kenmerkende “bow tie” lades zoals je vaker ziet bij de ontwerpen van Arne Vodder.
De spiegel heeft een organische vorm en is kantelbaar en op het bovenblad ligt nog de originele zwarte glazen plaat die nog in een goede vintage staat verkeert.

Deze vanity of dressing table is nog helemaal netjes en zonder beschadigingen, de randjes zijn met massief teak afgewerkt, de spiegel laat een beetje zijn leeftijd zien, er zit wat lichte oxidatie (lichte spikkels) op maar dat mag ook wel na ongeveer 50 jaar.

Dit is een erg leuke stijlvolle smaakmaker voor in de slaapkamer die behoorlijk zeldzaam is.

Beautiful vintage vanity or dressing table designed by the Danish designer Arne Vodder (attributed).
This exquisite designed piece sits on a very nice and elegant frame, the front has three drawers with the signature “bow tie” shaped drawers as can be found on several other designs by Arne Vodder.

The mirror can be tilted up and down and on the top is the original black glass plate which is in a good vintage condition.

You can see the craftmanship and quality in the dovetail joints of the drawers and the solid teak edges of this vanity.

There are no damages or restaurations and it still is in a very good and clean condition. After more then 50 years there is a tiny bit of oxidation showing in the mirror (very small white specs, nothing major but worth mentioning).
