Vintage Eames EA 117 desk chair (* sold)

Vintage Eames EA 117 bureaustoel met rode originele hopsack bekleding uit 1976. Deze designklassieker ontworpen door Charles & Ray Eames in 1958 zit erg comfortabel en het betreft hier een vrij zeldzame uitvoering met een zitting die neigbaar is d.m.v. een stelschroef.
Deze stoel werd dus in 1976 geproduceerd door Herman Miller en verkeert in een charmante vintage staat. De bekleding is nog erg netjes en is mooi vol van kleur. Er zit een kleine beschadiging op de hoek en een klein vlekje wat hoger op de rugleuning (in het echt iets donkerder dan op de foto afhankelijk van de lichtval). Op de leuningen is de lak van het aluminium afgesleten. Wij vinden het bijdragen aan het originele karakter van deze stoel (ze zijn immers ook nog nieuw te koop).

Vintage Eames EA117 desk chair with original red hopsack produced in 1976 by Herman Miller. This comfortable office chair designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1958 swivels and tilts backwards with an adjustment screw and rolls on castors. The chair is in a good vintage condition, the lacquer of the armrests is a bit worn of and there is a small spot on a corner in the front of the seat and a little stain on the top left of the backrest (see detailed photos). But all in all a nice fresh all original desk chair with some character.
